Love Your SysAdmin

Today is the 15th annual System Administrator Appreciation Day, or just SysAdmin Day for short.

We here at Atomia are all in the hosting industry. To say that sysadmins are vital to our industry and the Internet as a whole would be the understatement of the year.

After all, these are the guys and gals who continue to work their magic on our systems, servers and networks, sometimes even getting up in the middle of the night to keep the place running smoothly. How can we not be thankful for that?

So if you work in IT, or at least work somewhere that has an IT department, do something nice for your local sysadmin(s) today. Buy them something nice. Go get some drinks and a nice dinner. Or just say thank you. They have probably saved your bacon a thousand times without you even knowing it.
