Spanish Tu CPD Virtual launches Atomia-powered cloud hosting service
We’d like to welcome a new hosting company to the Atomia family. Tu CPD Virtual (which translates to Your Virtual Data Center in English) launched a couple of weeks ago in Spain, and we’re very happy to have them on board. Congratulations on launching!
Tu CPD Virtual offers pay-as-you-go VPS hosting using Atomia’s hosting and billing software. Here is how they describe themselves and their approach to the market:
Based in Madrid, Spain, Tu CPD Virtual is a new startup company which aims to take the Cloud business to a new step in terms of agility, modernity and DevOps orientation. Working along with Atomia, Tu CPD Virtual expects to supply the best services, and always with a model of pay-as-you-grow, to its customers. As Tu CPD Virtual has its servers in Spain and the European Union the data are protected by the Data Protection Act named LOPD. Because your data is your data, and it is not … you know, for any companies or governments.
We think this is an excellent example of how local hosting companies can differentiate themselves by emphasizing data privacy (something we’ve discussed previously on this blog). The widespread awareness of government-sponsored mass surveillance is a real factor these days, and it’s interesting to see hosting companies embracing this opportunity when they address the market.
Why not head on over to the Tu CPD Virtual website and check it out? It looks great!
